Fathers Day

Happy Fathers day everyone! I hope you a awesome time with your super duper dad! I can't wait to tell ya what we did to celebrate our daddio! All the Hubler's piled in the van to go to Minnehaha falls. it was getting close to lunch time and everybody's bellies were a rumbling dad decided to go to Smash burger. An order of 2 large fries, 5 lemonades, 2 cokes, and 5 smash burgers  hit the spot.


My onion has a heart in it!

Everyone hopped back in the van. After a quick stop at Caribou Coffee and a bathroom break at burger king, we made it to Minnehaha falls! We slathered every inch of our skin that was exposed to the sun and rented a surrey for 20% off (thanks groupon!) After we were white with sunscreen and strapped in to helmets we pedaled away.

Pedal! Pedal!

We pedaled.... and pedaled .... and pedaled. We pedaled for about three miles. it was really fun! our surrey pedaled back to the rental place and Hattie's  shoes were gone. Boo. She took them off and they fell off the seat. We drove back hoping to find them on the path we took but no they were gone. Double boo.  we look at the falls for a tiny bit but it is like 92 degrees out. Everyone is dripping with sweat. We trudge back to the van with air conditioning.. Ahhh. After cooling down a little (thanks air conditioning!) We go for ice cream at Izzy's Ice Cream Café. ( bubble gum ice cream for Cora, mint chocolate chip for Lily, Ben, and Hattie, Almond mocha for dad, chocolate for mom, and cookies and cream for me! All topped with a malted milk ball)  When we finish our ice cream we go to Menards to get a hammock.  Hattie falls asleep. She is sleepy even without helping to pedal. When we get home the boys set up the hammock. Grammie, Papa, and Jamie come bearing Chinese food. Who doesn't like egg foo young, Japanese pan noodles, and Hunan chicken?! We end the day watching basketball on TV. Our day was awesome! Thank you dads everywhere we love you!

I have pink eye.
I have a sinus infection.
I have strep throat.
I might be doomed to a few days of cough drops and eye drops

Its my birthday!

Dells

We did end up going to the Wisconsin dells it was just in June instead of May/April.
We went with my Grandmother (we call her Nana) and Paul. It was so much fun!

De-casting

all right, back to business.....  I got the silly cast off in may, That was a long time ago. Anyway.... To take the cast off they use a vacuum\saw, it vibrates like crazy let me tell you, finally the cast came off! Oh my goodness my arm felt soooo weird! My arm was also gross! Ew! Then they sent us down to x-rays. When the x-rays were over we quickly had a doctor look it over and then left children's mom let me get ice cream (I got cake flavor!) Yum! that was the only good thing about breaking your arm along with getting off chores!  I gottta  go!
